Tasting Notes:
in Langton's Classification and is the first Tasmanian wine to do so. Consistent with the 1999, the wine is a deep crimson in colour and almost opaque in the glass it is a wonderful ripe and fully flavoured wine, achieving an alcohol of 14.5%, rare for Tasmanian Cabernets and reflective of the Domaine-A site's potential. Again, sweet berry fruits and classy integrated French oak. The wine continues the tradition, having a wonderful European delicacy about it which sets it aside from its mainland counterparts.

Food Suggestions:
The wine lends itself to heavier meats, such as venison or Burgundy beef but could be enjoyed with sharp cheddar, preferably Ashgrove.

Rich blackberry and cassis flavours in a medium weight wine. can be enjoyed now but will benefit from cellaring over the next three to five years. An extremely reasonable price for Tasmanian wine.
