Tasting Notes:
Forty grams residual sugar obviously indicates that this is a sweet wine. The low alcohol level and zippy acid make this wine suitable as an afternoon aperitif or served with delicately flavoured food. Serve well chilled.
 
Food Suggestions:
Light summer midday outdoor meals, such as caesar salads, fruit platters and some soft cheeses.

2008 Bream Creek Riesling

Tasting Notes:
A flavoursome wine with lemon, lime and tropical fruit aromas. This is a rich, full bodied wine with a long intense palate, a soft acid structure andintense lime charactes on the finish. Serve chilled.
 
Food Suggestions:
Asian style cuisine and seafood (especially Flathead fillets)

2008 Bream Creek VGR Riesling

Several winemakers are producing the GR series. This grams residual of fruit sugars left in the ferment. This is Tasmania's method of producing a sweeter variety of wine. VGR riesling has 18 grams residual therefore sweeter than the 06 riesling but not as sweet as the Late Harvest Schonburger 11.8%alc/vol

Tasting Notes:
Displays a rich andlucious style by balancing the natural residual grape sugars with a clean refreshing palate. fresh floral nose and lime characters.

Another of Mike's softer styles of wine that are pleasant drinking chilled with summer lunches and dinners. Fruit driven, clean and fresh. Citrus lime background with some fruit sweetness.
