Tasting Notes:
This is a great aperitif wine with fine bead and full mousse. The yeast is light toast and fits in perfectly with the fruit character of the wine. The palate of the 1998 vintage, similar to the '97, is full and creamy. "Alexandra" has always been a multiple award winner.
 
Food Suggestions:
Definitely oysters, preferably nartural. Cold trout and salmon, including gravalax. Gruyere cheese.

Attractive green apple and delicate strawberry flavours with a crisp palate balance. The small bead (bubbles) produces a pleasant refreshing sparkle.
